Gutters

What type of materials do we use?    We use steel 26 gauge gutters.

How long will the gutters last?  About 25 years; longer if you paint the inside of the gutter.

What about pre-painted seamless gutters?  We don't like aluminum gutters, they are too lightweight.  Pre-painted gutters are good if they match your paint.  Seamless gutters do have seams at miters, end caps & outlets and are sealed with caulking.  Done Right Roofing & Gutters screws together the seams & miters with zip screws then we hot solder all of the seams.

Do I have to paint the gutters?  Yes.  The gutters come with a pre-paint finish (bonderized) chemical primer.  They are ready for paint.  Primer is not needed before you paint, but we recommend it.

If you have fire treated shakes or you install them down the road, you will need to paint the inside of the gutters to prevent rusting.

What is the longest section of gutter you can get?   30 feet

What is the warranty?  We give a 10 Year Warranty Against Defects in Workmanship

Do we have to be home during the job?  No, but we want you to be there when we start in case any questions arise.

Will you need electrical power?  Yes, possibly

Deposit required?  None

What if I am not happy with the job?  Done Right will fix it.

Will gutters hold water?  Yes, we install gutters level with the roof.  Your roof may sag and will hold water in different areas.  This is no concern as long as it is less than 1 1/2 inches or less.  We can add downspouts later if you feel it is necessary.

Do we screen gutters?  We can, this depends on the roof & trees you have.
